MTB Student Champs Entry forms
The Student MTB Championships entry forms have arrived. The race is taking place on the weekend of 28/29/30 March (which is during the Easter holidays) at Hopton Woods in Ludlow, Shropshire.
Entry to the event is fully subsidised by the university since this is a BUSA event so it won't cost you much to come along.
Entry forms need to be completed by all those who wish to enter... and we really would like to encourage all members to enter, whatever your standard, whether you've raced before or not (in fact especially if you've never raced before). Come on! The weekend has proven to be thoroughly enjoyable in the past. Personally, as a 2001 fresher, last year's event was the first occassion on which I got a chance to properly meet everybody else in the club.
Find entry forms in the Cycling pigeon hole in the AU office (see below). Please complete the forms fully so that I, as well as the race organisers, have all your details. Once completed put them into the bright green folder that I've left next to the forms.
With regard to transport it's slightly unfortunate that the race is in the holiday. We'll keep you posted about any plans we can come up with... don't let this discourage you for the time being. If anybody that has their own transport can make it known it would be appreciated. We'll look into the practicality of making minibus arrangements. Keep checking the website.

(Find the AU office on the ground floor of the Portland Building - the level above the Arc. Just go on in there and find our pigeon hole, don't be scared now. To save you having to look too hard - it's at about chest level on the left hand side of all the pigeon holes.)
