All 11 places have been filled for the France trip I'm pleased to say, and those that are going will be leaving on the 1st of September for a week of biking in the French Alps. The trip is by no means exclusive, and if you missed a place, there's no reason why you can't meet the guys out there and join in the fun. The itinery goes something like this:
1st September: Meet at London Luton airport, Flight at 10.55 to Geneva
1st Sept - 8 Sept: Staying at a chalet in Les Gets, France. For details see www.velo-city.net
8 Sept: Geneva to London Luton, arrive 10.30.
Les Gets is a lively french Ski resort, whose vast network of summer lifts, alpine roads and world class downhill courses makes for one of the world's best destinations for cross-country, downhill and of course road riding, with the Tour passing near by.
If you want to join the trip, why not find some like minded riders and book yourself some accommodation nearby, and with flights as cheap as 70 return it can make for a very cheap summer holiday indead.
