More Discount
On learning earlier this summer of one of my friends opening his own bike shop I thought a little bit of mutual back scatching was in order. Now his name is Dave Seeds and his shop is in Solihull (Birmingham) so it will be mail order. But generally we as riders know what we want, don't we. Anyway, to the point, he's my friend, and he's willing to arrange a deal/discount on your individual purchases. You just need to state you saw this advert and your a member of Nottingham Uni Bike Club. He can order in pretty much anything, so do yourself a favour, get some really freindly service while helping out the 'small guy' out.

More Discount part (ii) - 9 Jun 2003 - Bazza
Just adding here to Danny's original post, that we can also obtain a discount at Total Fitness (near Sainsbury's petrol station in Beeston). Not heard it mentioned by anyone in the club, but I've never failed to get a discount in there when saying I'm in the Uni cycling club.
They're a triathlon store mainly, but have some things which may be of use (only local place I've seen stocking SIS energy drink etc), so at least you all know now.
