Incidently, Danny Axford (1st) and Ben Greenwood (2nd) where 6th & 9th in the National hill climb which took place near Halifax the following day. Simon Richardson rides for GB & won the BUSA XC race last year. Charles Taylor came 3rd in a very competitive hill climb up Riber last week. This was a  high-class field so well done to everybody, in particular Dave Mclean & Simon Choppin (on a mtb). Dave Walker got beat by a bird, but was riding the heaviest bike there, so it's ok.
