Cyclo XXX Action

There is a Cyclo Cross race is Nottingham this weekend. I think I'm going to give it a crack for a laugh. I have checked that you can do it on Mountain Bikes and they are ok with that. So, everyone who is X-country riding on Saturday, we could well be heading to Bramcote (2 miles from Uni). The race starts at 2:15 so theres a couple of hours to get wet and cold waiting for it to start, and it will last about an hour and a bit!
The courses shouldn't be that technical but are designed to make you get off at certain points. Its going to be my aim to ride a whole lap without getting of for this very reason.
The bad bit. Entry is going to be £8 for BCA members (which you probably aren't!) or £11 for non-BCA members (like me). If people like it, there are other dates throughout the winter so we may be able to get some subsidy through the club for other races.
