Polaris Challenge
2006-07-01
It's a pairs MTB orienteering event and a good way to see lots of new trails. The summer one is the easy one where you camp somewhere central and return there on Saturday night, so no carrying tents just food and stuff. When you turn up Friday night you get maps with checkpoints on and then on each day you get given a list of the value of each checkpoint. On the Saturday you get 7 hours to get as many points as you can and then 5 hours on the Sunday.
