Anyone interested in some on-campus bike polo?

Played for the first time a few days ago, great fun, here's a video for anyone who hasn't seen the game before:

at a minimum we'd need 4 players and 4 mallets, no special bike required though a carbon fibre road bike may not be the best idea. Mallets can be made from ski poles and plastic piping, there's a guide here:

Decathlon sells ski poles for £8, I'm happy to invest in a couple of mallets but am lacking the tools (a drill) needed to construct, willing to give a hand though.

Figured we could play on one of the campus tennis courts, not sure whether campus security would be too happy about this though?

Anyway let me know if you're interested.

I'd be up for a go, seems like a fair bit of effort thou. Might be an idea to talk to the sports centre. And to buy a few cheap second hand ski poles. I'm meeting the sports centre people this week so if you tell me your questions I'll ask them if you like.

All we need is a hard court with edges of some kind. If we want to play at night it obviously needs to be lit. Probably be worth asking if they mind if we use the tennis courts, or if there's anything better around.

OK, there is a game that goes on in town. If you are interested meet wednesdays at the Orange Tree around 7:30.

Ridiculous idea, it'll never work.

Unicycle hockey, now that's a proper wheeled-contraptions-and-hitting-things-with-sticks games. Although I can confirm that the sports centre don't let people play it there, so probably won't be too enthralled about bike polo. Let me know if they change their mind though.
