Wharncliffe Trip
I'm planning on organising a DH/XC (Road too if they want) out to Wharncliffe.
It'll be on a weekend (I'm thinking the 20th 21st of Feb) and I imagine it will cost around £5 for travel and such.
Wharncliffe is the wood which made Steve Peat the super hardcore dude he is today thus if you come along I can confirm by the end of the day you will be at least as good as, if not better, than him. There are loads of lovely rocky awesome tracks from the super techy to the flowy.
Wharncliffe also has a good XC loop which is constantly under improvement by the FC, I've done it, it's cool.

The XC loop loops around where the DH tracks are anyway, so when you're done on the loop, you can come and join us.....or whatever tickles your pickle.

Hmmmmm, I can't do the weekend before as I'm at home.
Would the weekend after be a bit too close to the training trip? Not that it really matters.

I'll be keeping an eye on this, would be nice to actually get my bouncy steed down to Wharncliffe, I might not spend all day whinging that way. I'll try and bring Andy (of Cannock trip fame) again for XC frollics

Sorry guys, can't do that weekend either, going to cambridge for a family thing. the only weekend I can do is the 13/14th march.

yh im still up for it..
simon cant do it due to workload, however we may have to change this to the busa training trip date due to two of the commitee being unable to attend the training trip, which'd be a bit of an error imo
There is not much chance of this happening if niether Fred or Simon can make it as we have nobody to drive.
