Rest of Summer and Weekend before uni

16 July, 2010 20:10

The weekend before term starts (18th-19th sept) there is a CRC marathon in north Wales or, a bit less demanding, the Plumz enduro. I'd like to do one of em, any XCers up for it? Think I'll have a car in notts this year. Links to both:

Also is anyone up for meeting up for some riding from August unil uni starts? Don't mind where really, but was planning on spending a few days in Wales at some point.

Im up for doing the mtb marathon. Which distance you thinking of doing?

I'm hoping to quit my job as soon as I can get out of my overdraft (hate it and the ACL does not appreciate me standing for 11 hours at a time)

after that point I'll have the house in Wales free and will be out there, got brechfa and cwm rhaeder within 20 minutes, as well as a mate who I never actually realised lives 15 minutes down the road, so knows a lot of the trails and will take us out on some rides.

so i'm aiming to do that end of august/start of september.

also, NEXT YEAR DO SUMMER SESSION

epic does not describe it.

I was thinking of doing the one that's around 70km, think they call it the middle marathon. Unsure of whether I could do 100km off-road. You okay with that distance wise? I'll get in touch with you in August cause it all depends on whether I have the car or not.

Tevans I may have to crash at your house in Wales for a bit of cheeky XC, well up for revisiting Afan etc. I tried to get in touch with you a few weeks ago but think you were abroad then. Back in august so will give you a call then.
