Nicolai 2MXTB, Manitou Sherman Breakouts, Raceface

23 September, 2007 16:51

I'm selling my beloved Nicolai 2MXTB frame complete with Sherman Breakout forks (1.5" headtube,) FSA Pig headset, Raceface Diabolus Stem, Thomson Seatpost and Salsa Seat post clamp.

I'm selling it simply because my riding doesn't justify such a burly bike, hopefully someone will give it the abuse it deserves!

Here's what i'm selling:

2003 Nicolai 2MXTB frame, size M, silver anodised finish, 1.5" headtube, excellent condition. No scratches thanks to the brillaint anodised finish and to the see-through frame protectors stuck on in places of high wear. Exceptional build quality as you would expect from Nicolai.

2003 Manitou Sherman Breakout forks, In perfect working condition, a couple of scratches on the fork body and one of the pinch bolts on the 20mm thru axle is rounded such that it requires an imperial allen key (I'll include one) to tighten/loosen. The TPC+ damping and Rapid Travel II units were replaced in 2005.

Raceface Diabolus 1.5" Stem, 50mm with 25.4mm bar clamp, black, in perfect condition.

Thomson seatpost 30.0mm to fit frame in silver. Great condition.

Salsa quick release to fit frame. Great condition.

FSA Pig 1.5" headset, ON IT'S LAST LEGS, bearing surface is starting to wear such that it isn't smooth anymore. It'll last a little while longer but'll need changing soon.

Thats about it I think... check out some pictures of the bike built up here: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/256055/ and http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/256054/

Feel free to ask any questions or request close ups of any part.
I'm in Lenton if you want to come and have a look.

350 for the lot.

Cheers guys.
