Wanted: Rear Disc Brake
Hi, i'm a student here at nottingham uni, kust never got round to cruising over to the club.
Anyway, I've just bought a new hardtail that the guy was running brakeless-this isn't really my idea of fun so i am looking for a cheap (CHEAP) rear disc brake.
Will consider any hydrolic brake so long as it works and is CHEAP.
Anyone with an old one kicking about?

P.S I'm around all summer and have a car. live in lenton and am keen to find some people to ride with. Dirt,street, park (new one is nearly finished in notts-looks great) also XC and DH/freeride. Anything at all really!
Oh, also a black 27,2 mm seatpost.Just for normail rails. Doesn't need to be long - its for the hardtail.
Cant help you with the parts but if you want to ride over the summer have a look at Nats - they ride xc ever sunday usually in the peaks - put a post on there forum and you will probably get your bits to.

dunno if your still lookign but i may be able to help you, ill have a look when i get home but i think i have a 27.2 seatpost kicking about and i may have a disk, not too sure ill see whats under my bed as i think most of them are boxxer mount that i have spare, but the seatpost you would be welcome too

Cheers for that. The seatpost (if you had one) would be great. I've sorted the brake situation already. Picked up a new stroker on the cheap. Bonus was, it came and, there were 2 complete back brake sets instead of 1 - kerching! Looks like the XC bike is getting an upgrade as well!
