Weekend(s) in SW Wales
Following on from the idea proposed at OSMM of a (stop laughing at the back) roadie weekend in Swansea....
On the basis that (a) this may not be everyone's cup of tea and (b) certain people aren't free til the middle of autumn and braking on wet leaves for hairpins down a 20% gradient is nobody's cup of tea, I propose TWO weekends in Swansea - one for road, one for MTB.
Road - mid/late september, all the climbing, scenery and yelling "MOOOVVE!!!!! at sheep as you fly down the road towards them at 40mph you can shake a frame-pump at. Or, if prefered, a ride to the beach for an ice-cream.
MTB - a hopefully-Jimbo-pleasing late october/early november. Woodland singltrack and stony moorland out my back door, Afan/Gower 30 minutes away, Mid-Wales epics/Brechfa a little further.
Let me know your availability/thoughts.

I don't plan that far ahead, so should be free for the MTB trip, wouldn't mind checking out brechfa but not to bothered where we go so long as it isn't London.
